I suggest taking a course with a letter grade rather than pass/fail. It's one way to boost your overall GPA. Most computer science courses will count towards your Science GPA. You can also take some art classes, such as ceramics. Actually, several of my interviewers asked if I had any art skills. Afterall, dentistry is part science and part art. Business skills will also come in handy...maybe accounting or marketing.

Whatever you do, make sure your elective credits will fulfill the requirements needed to earn your degree.

elective course can be anything that broadens your background and dental schools usually look for courses in economics, accounting, business, even some social science courses, mathematics and ... As far as pass/fail courses I didn't do any and I don't think that's a good thing on your transcript, it might not be bad either but what's the point of it!
In biology also they like you to take biochem. histology, microbiology and anatomy if you can those courses are highly recommended by dental schools.
Good luck
