I desperately want to go to medical school...I am applying to MD schools with the following stats...

Senior at a prestigious university
TX resident

cGPA: 3.64
sGPA: 3.27
MCAT: 11 VR, 10 PS, 8 BS, R Writing

My extracurriculars:

2 years clinical experience (volunteering) - about 1300 hours total
1 summer of research - about 300 hours
Upcoming year of research
TA for Hindi
Co-founded, president, VP of organization - related to medicine
Selected as one of few undergrads to teach a class (full control over syllabus, etc) at my university
a year of modeling and acting experience, also a finalist for a national pageant.

Chances?

I hope that 8 doesn't kill me....

Just from first glance, the 8 is going to hurt, especially since your science GPA is already very low to begin with... what schools are you applying to? Make sure you apply very broadly... and have you ever considered DO?
