Hi,
I am getting very worried so I thought I would throw this out there in the event someone can help me. My application was completed in Nov. In February, I received a Contingent Selection letter for the Navy HPSP. The contingencies for selection at the time were all already met and a person from my recruiting office told me that it essentially meant I have the scholarship. A few months passed, my recruiter was transferred, and I never heard anything since. I started contacting the office around April and was assured everything was fine. In the months that passed I have been contacting various people and everyone says things are ok and I should be getting the HPSP for Sept 1st, but I never got a Final Select letter.
Is this normal? I have been reading this forum and it seems that everyone got their Final Select letters already. Does that mean I was not selected? Is there anyone else in this situation? Should I be worried? I am hoping there is someone out there who this has happened to and it turned out ok....
