I know that the best time to apply to dental schools is right after junior year....but what if i do not have my prerequisites all complete.??

For MOST schools... Prereqs must be done prior to the summer of matriculation. However, it seems not all are so kind,

"
A minimum of 3 years college course work completed in a U.S. or Canadian college or university is required. To be considered, an applicant must have documentation certifying completion of a minimum of 90 semester credit hours at the time of application.
The college work must include:
English Composition & Rhetoric 6 hours
Biology or Zoology (with Lab) 8 hours
Inorganic Chemistry (with Lab) 8 hours
Organic Chemistry (with Lab) 8 hours
Physics (with Lab) 8 hours
These are firm requirements regardless of undergraduate or graduate preparation."


that is from WVU dental school. So do not apply there.

I am still a little confused...so basically should I apply when I have all my prerequisites complete? even if its senior year ?

Lots of people apply between their junior and senior years. I guarantee there are some who are missing a pre-req or two at the time of applying. That example given is one of the very few exceptions. Search here, check school websites or even call schools. You'll find almost all of them will tell you they just need to be completed before matriculation.

I'll be applying missing 5 prereq classes...

I was told I was fine.

Do note this was only from one school though.

If you can pull mostly A's in the missing pre-reqs, then yes.

You can apply without all of them complete, but you must plan to take them your senior year, the summer after your junior year (this summer), or the summer before dental school (pushing it...)

alright thank you very much, i calculated and by the time i need to apply ill be missing max 2 classes.
