Please need advice

Just got my MCAT score and rec. 24L (10B, 6V, 8P) 🙁. My scGPA is 3.63 and overall 3.67.

I know I have no chance for MD schools now but do you guys think I have any chances for DO schools? Any school list would be great help.

Also, I don't know much about DO schools --- can DO doc. specialize in neurology etc or they are mostly internal medicine docs.

GPA is above average, MCAT is not too far below. If you had good EC's / LOR's I would think it is definitely possible. If you're applying this cycle however, you would have to start getting your application in now. Also, you would have to get a D.O LOR for some schools. You can check the Underdog thread's first post (although, with a 3.63 I surely wouldn't consider you an underdog). I attached the matriculant data for last year, if you're interested. Also the 6 in verbal may screen you out of some schools, I would check the CIB for that.

I don't want this to sound like a lecture but you should really search through some of the threads in this forum if you want this information. This place is packed with information on the questions you are asking. Just look around a bit and you will probably find everything you need and then some.

Thank you so much. Yes I have alot of Ec's, shadowing, research, publications and leadership exp. And yes strong LORs but not from a D.O. -- only school and from research work. Also I submitted my AMCAS app before MCAT score was out -- so I have about 20 sec. application -- i don't know if I should waste money to fill them out. I working on AACOMAS now.
