Hi Guyz,
I am a FMG just about to defend my PhD degree in a major university in east coast. My work is in molecular medicine related to process of absorption in GI tract and kidney. I am looking forward to a career as academic physician post residency/fellowship. I was aiming for 2010 match but got delayed due to personal reasons , however this is how things look right now :
1) Scores
Step 1 : 98/235
Step 2 CK : 88/214
Step 2 CS : pass
all first attempt, I know my CK is low .. but it just got hard with >70 hrs in lab per week with attempt to graduate on time
2) Publications : 4 (2 more in pipeline)
3 posters
3) US clinical experience : yes (observership)
guess that's it.. It would be wonderful if I could find programs with open slots at this time ...
Any suggestions are welcome
