Okay, first of all, i'm a new memeber. So Hello everyone!

I have a big problem. I just started my junior year.
My first semester of sophomore year, i took organic chemistry 257.
This is a orgo chem course that links 2 classes, 255 and 256, into one
semeseter course. So 257 is a mix of 255 and 256. The problem is, i just found out that most dental schools require 8 semester hours of orgo chem. I don't know what i should do at this point. School has already gone past a week. Is it okay if i take 255 next semester and finish 256 on my senior year? or is that too late?

i don't know what to do. Please let me know guys.
Thanks

You'll need the credit hours before starting d-school. You're fine.

so i just have to take 255 and 256 before i gruduate right?
and i can send in apps before i'm done taking them?

I don't know why schools are monkeying with OChem so much these days. It's not that hard a subject, really, but in the level of detail they cover you need two semesters.

Good luck cramming it all in like that!! 😱

you can take it the summer before you start dental school. UMich requires sociology credit which i can take anytime before orientation

🙂
