Please read before responding to list posts

When replying to one of the list posts (interviews, rejections, etc.) please:

A) Reply to the most recent post.
B) Delete the {QUOTE=name} from the beginning (note that the brackets will be square, not curly).
C) Add your information following the format others have used, and
D) Delete the {/QUOTE} from the very end of the quote.

This will prevent the formatting from getting messed up. Thanks!

i just don't see how it's so hard. its not like brain surgery, which some of these people probably aspire to do. sad thing is, the directions liverotcod posted have been posted before, but to no avail!!!

oh well, i guess the great, ancient 'listkeepers' must remain steadfast as guardians of the list threads.

When you do a search for posts containing the name of a medical school or the word "secondary" you get 10,000 results from 3 threads that have 10,000 copies of the same list. This makes it harder to find what you are looking for.

Its still hapenning....just look at the acceptance thread....quoting but not deleting the {quote = username } and {/quote} tags.......don't they see the bold formatting is lost? 😕

seriously. maybe we should just have everyone post their stuff in short format, eg, "accepted to school X" and then at the end of the day, say, midnight EST, someone goes in and adds all of them?

yeah but then you can search that thread for a specific school or something and it'll find the individual posts in that thread....

That is what I'm talking about. In those list threads every school is listed in every post so if I click "show results as posts" I have thousands of copies of the exact same list.
