Hi, I would like to buy a Biochemistry book. Could anyone suggest one which would help me understand the material in dental school level? Any recommendation would be appreciated. :)

If you want one of the heaviest most comprehensive books on the subject that you will ever own, get "The Cell--fourth edition". ( I think Alberts is the first auther) It's a big grey monster. I find this one easier to read and understand than voet and voet, although that's a very good book too. anyway you cut it you're looking at over $100 at the bookstore, even used. I'd try somewhere online first. From what I've heard from talking to my friends that are D1s this year, take your summer off, and learn biochemistry when you get there. Chances are what you pull out of reading a random textbook won't be exactly what the prof wants you to know anyway!
