You can PM me if you wish. I'm not looking for actual questions but just how the day went. Were the interviews at the end of the day? Was it 1 on 1, 2 on 1 or a group interview. I heard they are really chilled out and the interviews go smoothly but I'm nervous anyway.:scared:

One on one interview first thing in the first after they give you breakfast. You should arrive half hour earlier to eat and talk to current students. My interviewer was very chill, but other people my day had some tough interviews. So it depends on who you get. Just relax.

how many students were there for the interview day??
if you dont mind me asking, who was ur interviewer?
i still havent heard back from the school and just playing the waiting game... really want to go there...

Didn't get an interview there this year but last year I did and I had about 20 in my interview group..there weren't even enough chairs in the room. The dean Dr. Chiviano-Moran was super energetic and interesting. The interviews were one on one and some people got interviewers who had more influence than others so I think that's all luck. To have time to eat you have to come early..and you are going to want to eat..lasted until 1:30 as the tour took forever and everyone was starving. The clinicals are new and beautiful bwtn. enjoy it! Of the 4 interviews I had last year UMDNJ was the least stressful.

There were about 20 people. I think they interview alot of people and give out few acceptances. I don't want to say who my interviewer is because I want to remain anonymous.

You start the interviews around 9:00. At my interview, I literally walked in and was about to sit down and get some breakfast and my interviewer was already there and told me to eat, and then find him when I was done so we could go talk. This was my first interview and it def was a good one to start off with. The interview was more of a conversation , really relaxed and a low pressure/stress environment. It was one on one and since it was done within the first hour of you being there, you then got to relax and just enjoy the rest of your time there. we were done around 12:45-1:00ish. Hope this helps!

Thanks for all your replies! I'm so happy the interview is done in the beginning! This way I can just enjoy the rest of the day without obsessing! I'm also happy with the one on one rather than the tag team that I've heard about or imagined in my mind perhaps. This way I can concentrate on looking at one person.
