One more reason I went to med school after my PhD. Residents are overworked and underpaid, but at least they know when they're going to finish and move on to greener pastures.

yep, after med school I decided I wanted to do some research. So three years as a post-doc later ... research is too rough. Starting my residency in June, and I won't look back. I'm thinking clinical trials work is more my forte now anyway 😉
