i am thinking i can give part 1 in aug 14 and results come in one month for cbt about sep14 or so , but the last day for most of the colleges to accept the nbde part 1 is around sep 20 , but they generally say one must apply early ,so do u think i will be in any disadvantage if i apply late( that is just a few days before the closing date for accepting nbde results )

U will get your CBT results in 2 weeks but the thing is they will take a month to send the scores to the school as they will be very busy during that time..

So to be on the safe side try to finish the exam before August, So you won't miss the deadline of some schools like UCLA (sep 1st, 2005) ..You may want to double check with the school deadlines though..
