well, I dont know about it being 9 letters but I know for sure it is histones. Histones are used to wrap DNA around before mitosis. DNA wrap around 1.65 times around each histone. 8 histones make up 1 nucleosome and 4 nucleosomes are used to wrap 1 gene around.
