Hello guys!
For disclaimer, I am not trying to troll here; I know very little about each school that is currently on my list and I just recently purchase dental school explorer to hopefully know more about them. But still, I really want to hear some insight from someone that already applied or currently applying to see whether or not my current list is okay.
My Stats:
oGPA: 3.72, sGPA: 3.66 (might go up cuz I am taking some summer classes)
DAT: 24 AA, 27 TS, 19 PAT
Dental research: 700~ hrs
General dentist shadowing: 270 hrs
Volunteering: 200~ hrs
States of resident: California
Race: East Asian
LOR: 1 dentist, 3 Science
Undergraduate institution (idk whether or not this is a factor): UCLA
I transfer from a community college

Current school list:
Oregon H,S university
University of Colorado
Case Western
UNLV
Harvard
Touro
USC
UoP
Michigan
Western U
UCLA
Penn
Loma Linda
Iowa
UCSF
Columbia
Midwestern Arizona
Ohio

I don't have a ton of experience to add, but can share that OHSU has a limit on Community College credits. I believe it is only 30, so if you attended community college for 2 years, that might be a no go. But with your stats, I'd guess that you'll be competitive anywhere.

Strong profile and great list.

Regarding Loma Linda, note that they are a religious university and highly encourage a "spiritual leader" as one of your letter of recommendation writers.

I agree with this post - i'd research further into how many CC hours each school takes. I know each school has their own limits for that. I think they are listed in the Explorer book. As for your schools, you have great stats so I don't think I would worry about how many to apply to. Something you may want to consider in applying for schools is clinical v. research based schools. For example, i've heard that Harvard is pretty research focused so if you are not interested in that type of curriculum then you may not want to apply. I applied to a little bit of a mix just to see what I could learn about the curriculums during the interviews
