Plz Help With My Problem

hey im not a doctor, im a business student.. lol the reason i came to this site is because im have terrble pain in my collar bone area mostly the left side and in the centre, and also in the middle u kno where the lower neck is that sort of hole, basically the colar bone whole region, i didnt get into any accidents nor did i hurt myself, just for a couple of days now, almost a week i've been having really bad pain in the colar bone area and it seems to be getting worse because before i didnt notice it, and now its becoming so uncomfortable i havta constantly hold my neck area with my hand and press down on it,

the pain is like, kind of a shooting pain, and tightening feeling, it has gotten worse, im 2 busy with school to see a doctor, so plzz try to help me outt.. i do have a really heavy backpack, but its been like that for years so i dont know why it would bother me now..cuz usually if my backpack is 2 heavyy i get back pain, but this pain is in the collar bone region and centre area region.. soo plzz tell me what u think this could be?
