Can anyone tell me what the limit on PMs are?
People always say that my PMs are full when in fact I barely have anything in my inbox. I don't understand this.

Do I need to delete the messages that are under the "Sent" folder as well? Could that be the reason why my box is full?

Anyone that can just simply explain this to me would be good so I know how often I have to clear out everything.

I can't remember the exact limit, but it is somewhere in the 70s, I belive.

The problem most of the time is that the default is to pull up only the PMs from the last 10 days. You have to go to the drop down menu ("show messages from") and go to "the beginning." Click on "go." This will show everything in your inbox. Then go do the same in your sent folder. You can also check your message tracking.

Most people have more PMs than they realize because they don't know that there are old ones "hiding" in there.

I didn't directly answer one of your questions, so I want to be clear to help everyone out: both your inbox and sent folders count towards your PM mailbox max. Both have to be cleaned out (use "the beginning" option) to help you out.

yeah so it was already set to the beginning but it must have been those sent messages... i had a lot of them....

now i know i have to delete both...thanks drmom aka robitussin(?)

one more quick note on this (since it is a frequent question I get around here): you have to re-set for "the beginning" each time you do this. Every time you open up your PM mailbox, it defaults to messages from the past 10 days.
