To the PM&R pain fellows on this board…

I went into PM&R because of its multidisciplinary approach to neuromusculoskeletal pain. With the current requirements for Pain fellowships to be more multidisciplinary, do you still have the opportunity to utilize EMG/NCS, prescribe therapeutic exercise, and implement other rehabilitation modalities during fellowship? I want to supplement my general PM&R training rather than replace it.

I have been performing EMG/NCS this year (unfortunately in my case), much of what you are exposed to in your fellowship year will depend upon the type of fellowship (PM&R, Anesthesia) and the practice philosophy of the institution.
