Could anyone explain why BP goes down and CVP goes up? Thanks so much! 🙂
 
Pneumothorax --> compression alectasis. Blood gets dammed up behind the lung --> CVP increase. Less blood gets out of the lung --> decreased stroke volume --> decreased BP.
