PNWU vs LECOM-Erie

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Have you been accepted to both schools? More information as to what your thought processes are would be helpful.
I assume you have listed (at least in your mind) the pros and cons of each school... what did you come up with?
I know quite a bit about LECOM, and a little about PNWU.

I posted to your reply in the PNWU forum but will do so again here.

PNWU:

Pros: Newer facilities, located in WA, friendly students and staff

Cons: No set rotation sites, no concrete plans for residencies, located in Yakima, higer tuition, building not finished yet (may only have one classroom large enough to host a lecture for either the first or the second year class...as of October 2008), and no research opportunities

LECOM:

Pros: Lower tution (by 20% or so), three year program for FP, masters programs, campus choice, lecture/PBL choice, research opportunities, Erie is a decent town, professional environment, many graduated classes, established rotations and residencies.

Cons: Located in NW Pensylvania, students seemed to be less enthused about attending the school

For me, if I had to choose between the two it would have been PNWU becasue of its proximity to my family. I also know a person in the first year class at PNWU, and she loves it so far. None of the other things about these schools really stuck out at as a reason for me to choose one over the other.

Do you have acceptances to both? Will you have additional income from a spouse or family? Do you have close ties to the NW or to Pennsylvania? These things may weigh in more than what each of these schools have to offer through their programs.

i've been waitlisted at pnwu and really thought that the facilities were quite nice and the staff seems completely credible. as for cost goes both schools have an estimate that comes out about the same. at pnwu your tuition includes computer, books, supplies, board exams, etc.

on the other hand i loved erie as a town and thought it would be a great place to live becaue otherwise i would probably never live in the eastern part of the country. however i can't choose a school based solely on location and what not. erie has been around for a while, but i often see negative post towards it and have heard mixed reviews of the rotations.

pnwu is setting up many rotations where other schools have previously had them and is hoping to not have a ton of students at each site so they can participate more i guess.

i really liked both and am just weighing out what i can.
