I have been accepted into SOMA and got my top choice site which is D.C. I have interviews and PNWU and TUNCOM in November in December. I am kind of already set on SOMA because I really think I will like their curriculum and CHC. Am I making a mistake by not going to the other two interviews?

Also, does anyone have any info on the quality of residencies at SOMA? Right now I'm mainly thinking of neurology, psychiatry, or primary care which if I understand correctly, aren't super competitive.

I would ditch TUNCOM but take a second look at PNWU.

I would go to both.

I would go to both.
Would you say the schools are that much better than soma? I'm just worried about paying for them and I am perfectly happy with soma. I also much prefer the locations that I will be at in soma.

If you are all set for Soma and money is an issue then you shouldn't go to TUNCOM and PNWU.

If you're 100% satisfied with SOMA, I don't see a reason to go to anymore interviews; however, that obviously isn't the case here given that you've asked this question. You're still curious about other schools or you still have some doubts about SOMA. You're not at that 100%. I would go to both.

If you have the funds I would say to go because this is a huge decision. Why look back and think what if?

I don't have much of a read on PacNW, but you'll be fine at TUNCOM for sure. I'm not a fan of how SOMA farms out their students all over the state to tiny clinical sites.

The only reason I'm thinking about the pnwu and tuncom is because they have marginally better first time pass rates for comlex. I think it's around a 2 percent difference. I just can't decide if it's worth possibly going to a school in a location that I don't want to be for the 2 percent difference.

That a 100% should be a non-factor. If you are so set on SOMA then honestly no reason to go to either. If you do want to go at least check one out I would definitely go to TUNCOM and scrap PWNU.

I loved soma when I interviewed. Thought for sure I would pick it. Then I interviewed at PNWU and it blew soma out of the water.
