What is the best pocket book do you guys recommend for an IM intern?

Gucci, or a nice Louis Vitton

Not on an intern's salary it's not...

LOL yeah on an intern's salary it'll be a "Fendy" pocketbook

really though the Pocket Medicine: Mass Gen handbook is great and almost ubiquitous at my program. There is also a book called "Medicine: On Call" or something similar which was helpful for getting orders together based on diagnosis esp at the beginning where not everything is clear (activity level? how frequent vitals? etc)

What about "Washington Manual Internship Survival Guide"?

if it's the washington manual I'm thinking of it's a good desk reference but too big to really be carried around in a coat pocket
