Podiatry Salary increase 2017?

So, I have been told by some that a law has passed through the house but not yet the Senate that will increase Podiatrists salary can someone elaborate about this. which podiatrists does this law apply to and what other benefits does it provide?

It’s for equal compensation in the VA, because DPMs are compensated dramatically less than MDs and DDS. That’s all I really know.
