Thank you, much appreciated! I survived it but will not be satisfied until I'm sure I passed, which I won't find out until after I match.

dunno...pool was $10/hr and we played for around 3-4 hours.

then there were the countless pitchers of blue moon.

of course we did shots!

the first one was some strong fruity thing which almost made me puke. the second shot was called "chocolate cake" (see previous post)
 
Metzger's has a drink called the "Metzger's Hummer" or something like that which includes lots of liquor, ice cream, and chocolate, I believe. I have never had it though.

I bet you spend less at the casino than you spend at the bar on a weekend, and you get drunker. If they aren't giving you free drinks, man, find a new casino. Tip the waitresses like a buck each time or they won't come back with another drink. Sit in close proximity to the bar. And, don't waste your money buying your own drinks.

If you go to the M&M store and they have caramel M&M's buy me like 50 packages.

Actually I plan to gamble $1000 and I promised myself I won't go over that no matter how quickly I lose my money.

As for drinks, hopefully most of them will be free as I sit at the various tables. Drink and food expenses fall under a different budget 🙂

Who knows, maybe I'll do well at the casino and get mad comp. Yes, SFKGs can have dreams too.

And regarding poker night, we already do that here. But what's the point of doing poker night when you're in Vegas when you can sign up for Texas Hold'em games?

First, I don't gamble often in casinos. Second, this is only my 2nd time to Vegas. I'm gonna have some fun damnit!

I have never been hugely into gambling either. On occasion it can be amusing, but then you realize that even when you win, it is after having lost a lot and it seems the best you can hope for is to break even or come out slightly ahead. Unless you study some of the table games and get good at them, and I'm not that interested in that.
 
I hope the mortgage broker doesn't think I'm too poh when she runs my credit check and pre-approval application this evening....*fingers crossed*...:laugh:
