Not sure if it was that night... but we had 2 kills one night due to an item..
 
I still think its funny that everyone thinks conversions have to happen when no one dies. It can't be both. :laugh:
 
Man, this game was so much fun! Thanks PP and nohika for letting me have some fun with write-ups. MUCH more amusing than actually, you know, studying...

But I super suck at playing WW. I HATE lynching people! I felt like such a bad person for being so suspicious of SOV and Packen in particular...I kept saying, "But they were such nice mods in that other game. I can't vote to lynch them!"

And the wolves were brilliant. Well played!
 
Oh yeah! And hats off to nyanko in particular, whom I never suspected for a SECOND. In fact, at one point early on in the game when I was super paranoid of everyone, I asked the mods if I was allowed to PM her because she was the leader (since I really wanted to ask her what her opinions were on some things). Luckily, the mods told me that wasn't part of this ww game, or I would have been spilling my guts to the head wolf. 😳
 
Yeah, wolves definitely stomped the villagers on this one. They did have the communication advantage tho. Don't think anyone has mentioned that yet. I had the pokedex when I got killed. First time I had an investigatory item 🙁
 
I will happily take the award for best pm sender ever.

Charmander is a fire crotch. and I find great joy in being a cranky vindictive sarcastic ass with the mods!
 
Btw, my game plan? Vote for Phil every day unless the wolves needed me to vote their way.

It really was accurate ti call me a consultant. I was talking atrategy (it felt like) 24 hours per day with wolves in all different time zones.

Also dvm and sov are the worlds most paranoid players. Which i appreciate as I am far too pragmatic. Allowed for us to disagree and have the strongest theories survive. Good teamwork. DREAM WOLF TEAM!

The only thing I was paranoid about turned out to be true. But we were the best wolf team EVER!! 🙂

1) We were originally going to have pokemon evolve and gain powers of dead items in their final form, but due to time crunch, that got left out.

2) Elemental..? The types? legendaries?

3) Devyn was going to auto-convert to a legendary, but you guys converted her first. We were thinking of giving the Legendaries powers from dead items, but see #1.

4) Slash. Trema had it and attacked nyanko. I think another person tried to silence her as well or something.

You were an idea out of nowhere. It helps a bit if you know Mewtwo's story, but we decided to make you chaotic and be kind of your own entity. If it had came down to one villager, one wolf, and you, you would have won. So you were kind of like a neutral player.

Ah-ha!! I knew it!!

I had nyan pretty much pegged from the get go; but didn't have enough 'proof' for a kill. And after I was 'offed' I started to figure out all the craziness including that SOV was in the 'pack'. However, having been completely silenced in death I was unable to work that angle.

Oh twell. Well played, wolves!!! And nice job mods - insanity reigned supreme in this game and I think it served it quite well.

I think my favorite theory was that we were not really wolves? I want to say SOV threw that one out there at one point. Or maybe it was that we were all wolves? I was not the most attentive wolf in the pack 😳

Which reminds me - DocE might get the award for best over-reaction, and only because it was directed at me. To be fair, it would have been SUPER stupid of me to post what you thought I did, but I didn't. I was SUPER SMART 😎

Originally we were going to alternate, but when EC died, we figured we'd just let her be with the Legendaries. It was hilarious for it to be you and DVM. :laugh: We were like omg. The wolves are so gonna win this game.

Its funny.. i mentioned IPB's spreadsheet on the wolf chat as well.

Maybe when cuitl entered 4th year, IPB went missing with her?

I know IPB started a new job at some point...wonder if it's consuming all/most of her time? I don't think she's been around at all...

I said from almost the beginning that the wolves were gonna win this one. Haha

I had big write ups planned for the whole game with TR's balloon and everything, but I was much busier than I expected.
 
And there was some stuff that could have made it much more complicated. Pokemon evolving, TR getting certain pokeballs that could catch only certain Pokemon etc. but it would've taken forever to do all of that..

Close, but not right. Nyanko was a normal Pokemon but turned into the Team Rocket leader when she was elected.
 
Who handed out the rhymes? Was that a mod RNG, or did an item give someone that ability?

Yeah, I definitely had no idea there were only 2 wolves from the very start. I was working from the assumption that there were more wolves than that, and since we couldn't communicate except with one other person, I figured that the wolves would be able to elect whoever they wanted as leader (with the communication advantage).

I could see pros and cons for picking a fellow wolf as a leader--increased risk of being investigated right off the bat, ability to pick up whatever leader advantages there might be.

PP and nohika threw me off with a lot of things this game. I thought the set up was brilliant!😍

The problem with that assumption deals with the fact it was anonymous voting. 😉😉 Philliab was actually the winner, but we didn't want a Legendary wolf, so nyanko (who had the second-most votes) won.

Anonymous voting. Loved it.

I voted for Philliab...glad she wasn't given the position of leader, though. As if the wolves needed the ability to kill an extra person every 3 nights!

:laugh: Part of the reason we kept it separate was because we didn't want the wolves to take over/kill the legendaries. The Legendaries weren't able to convert anyone to their cause, though some of the evolved pokemon would've been able to go over to their side (..devyn...), and a handful of the smaller ones (DocE, Dratini, etc).
 
Philliab was winning at first but I think nyanko actually really won.

Nyanko got you beat, but you were leading for a long time. Her own vote counted twice though.
 
Anyone here a 30 Rock fan (I am)?

If you catch last week's episode Pokemon plays an important role!

Apparently "pokemon"-ing is a term used (not sure if just in the show or real life slang - I am not current enough to know the difference) to date people with different characteristics. And your pokemon is kind of like your harem.

Anyway, watch the show if you get a chance, it was kind of amusing after having my first exposure to pokemon with this thread.
 
I loooove 30 Rock but can only watch the ones on Netflix. 🙁
