I'm just curious how many people fill out the optional demographic info on apps. They say it has no effect on admissions; just wanted to see what others did.

Hell no.
Even if it doesn't affect my application, I don't see how my pigmentation or my junk is relevant. If more people withheld this information, then maybe one glorious day Universities will stop caring about it.
