Wends ... I have no idea!!! I think that I would pick UCLA/UCSF over anything, but it would tear me apart to have to turn down Ohio State since I really felt at "home" there. I will just have to see which the schools I'm interviewing at impresses me the most. I might like OHSU better than anything, for all I know. But I think I'd be a fool to turn down UCLA or UCSF if I get the chance to go to one of them. 🙂

Thank you so much, I am blown away by the positive response that I have gotten from the schools I applied to!

MSSM is an awesome school. I just had to make some decisions on what to cut (it is getting to be very expensive and time-consuming to travel). I was so happy at Ohio State and I don't think I would be as happy living in New York. That really is my only reason. I have nothing against the school. 🙂

How did you find out that you were on hold? From the website or did they send you a letter saying this? And are you on hold before or after the interview?

Geez, you guys are killing me with your 12+ interviews 😱 This must be costing you a bloody fortune! I applied to 12, have interviews/ed at 8, and hope to do all of my interviews in three trips. All this and I am still going to be around $3k. Ugh, I guess it is all pennies in the bucket compared to the debt I am going to take on (at least that is what I tell myself).

I am not planning on going to all of them. I only have 5 more scheduled for this fall (they are all on the west coast where I am except for one). If I get an acceptance to any of them, I will cancel 10 of them that I scheduled for January so I can save money.

hrm...i got 14 out of 22 secondaries...and i think i'm just not going to go to the penn state one.....

I did 5 so far but I am completely burnt out already! not to mention broke... 😱
