Also, when did you wake up, and how long did it take you to get ready in the morning? Just curious, haha. Thanks!
For me, (middle school) we start at 7:15.
I wake up at around 6:35, and leave the house around 7:08-ish, which means it's around half an hour to get ready.
However, this'll drastically change next year in HS, when I'll have to be bussed.

My high school started at 7:20, bus came at 6:20. I woke up around 5:15 each morning to allow time for actually waking up, making myself look presentable, making lunch, emptying the dishwasher, and feeding the cats. I was one of the weirdos who really didn't mind it all that much. 😛

Plus, now that sounds godly: my current job (I'm in a gap year and work full-time) has me waking up at 5 to make it to a 7 am-3:30 pm shift.

My sport practiced before school so I was in the car by ~5:15am
One of the best things about college is that many lectures are streamed online so the classes you actually need to attend let you sleep in until 10 or 11

High school starts at 7:30 AM for me, and since I live close to school, I wake up at about 6:40 AM! That gives me 5 minutes to wash my face and brush my teeth, 10 minutes to eat breakfast, and 5 minutes to get dressed. I leave school at 7:05 AM and arrive at 7:20 AM!

When I was in high school, we started at around 7:30. However, I grew up in a small town in a rural area where the high school had to share busses. Three little towns with their own K-8 schools and a bunch of outlying farms shared one high school. The high school got all of the students to school at about 6:30 so the buses would be available for the younger kids at their later start time. I'm still on an early schedule, but at least now it is by choice. I don't miss those years.

Started at 7:30am. I never have been a morning person so this was brutal for me all four years . After APs senior year though I only had two classes. Rest of the time I just relaxed. One thing I surely miss about high school, second semester senior year. Mine was a blast so was the summer before college 🙂. College is better since the earliest class I have had was 8am which happened only twice for me all 4 years.

Back in the states classes started at 7:35. I would wake up around 6:40, run to the bus at 6:55, and arrive at school at 7:15 and eat breakfast.

I'm an exchange student in Taiwan atm and school here starts at 8:00 although everyone has to be in school by 7:30 for a study period. I have to get up at 6 because of city traffic 🙁

@UNMedGa I definitely don't envy them though. School until 4 or 5 and then staying in school to study until 7 or 8. Cram school during the weekends. I'll happily be a dumb American haha.

Oh, I was referring to my redneck high school when compared to other American high schools... but yeah, schools in Japan and other countries make our high schools look like PreK.
