My handheld ultrasound machine (Sonque C5PL) is dying already after being only 2 years old and already had warranty service last year for a failed battery (won't charge). I am looking to migrate away from handheld US machines with built in batteries & wireless charging because it keeps on dying. Will be looking to invest into a portable US unit with capability to plug into the wall so I don't have to worry about battery dying every year.

I rarely do ultrasound injections in the office (piriformis injection & carpal tunnel injection are my most commonly usage) but I do need to have an US machine just in case. What do you guys recommend for an affordable machine (can be used) that's portable? In training I used Sonosite M-turbo so I'm looking for something similar to that platform but cheap? Saw someone posted about a Terason 3300 but I don't have much experience with that brand/machine.

I've used butterfly US but never felt they were that great for IV access or nerve blocks and did not like the bulky probe. But that was also years ago. I'd be curious to hear what others use

I like the Clarius. Its responsive and the picture is clear and I can use my ipad

V scan air is ok. About $5000. I have been just doing the very rare ones (ilioinguinal) at the surgery center and using their sonosite. They don’t make any money anyways in office. Just a service to help the patient.
