Hey Everyone,
I'm interviewing at Portland soon, and I got a letter saying they invite interviewers to come in dress casual for the day. Now I'm obviously not about to show up in jeans and a hoodie, but I was wondering if anyone interviewed there, and if so, if there were people who didn't wear suits? Thanks a lot.

Hey...

So as a guy, i went in a suit because i couldn't bring myself to wear whatever "dress casual" was. The other guy with me wore a sweater over a dress shirt. One woman wore a suit, the other didn't. The coordinator said next year they are changing the wording to "business casual" and that was what they were going for. Apparently, someone showed up earlier this season in jeans...don't do that .

The program is awesome...take the tram up, it gave a great city view in the morning even if it was fogged in during the afternoon.

I wore a skirt and dressy shirt. Of three other women interviewing, one wore a pantsuit, another wore a skirt and sweater set, and another wore dress slacks and a blouse The one man wore a shirt, tie, and slacks. You'll be OK either way, so wear what's most comfortable for you.

And I agree with CrazyPeds...if you can time it right, try to catch the tram at sunrise...it was spectacular.
