Hello, all the very smart, over-achieving, and good-looking sdn-ers.
What are some good post-bacc/ master programs for dental schools?
I am looking for a 1-year program. BCP GPA enhancer program, specifically.
Which ones have good chances of getting into dental schools? Linkage?
In addition, I am not an under-represented minority so probably won't qualify for most of the programs.

I am not getting interview invites, and I think it's my low BCP GPA of 2.97, so I am planning on fixing that next year🙂
I don't want to spend more than 1 year on a post-bacc because my DAT of AA23 PA23 will expire.

you need a Masters degree, post-bacc is for non-trads who are moving into dentistry with no science prereqs. Take a 1 yr masters that get good grades, that would be enough.

OP,

below is the list of schools with masters programs specifically for pre-dents that seem to have dental school links, all of these are either one year programs or a two year programs that have been known in the past, to have their students matriculate after one year into their dental school (NOVA) Mr. is right, opinions on SDN say post bacc is for non trads without scinces and masters are for those that have the science req's already and have to prove they can handle the course load.

1)Midwestern
2)Nova
3)UMDNJ
4)Boston
5)Tufts
6)Barry
7)NYU
8)VCU

though i should mention as a non trad i did post bacc and followed that up with a 1 year MA in biology at my local state school. so dont feel you have to have a link school. hard work and not rushing will pay off either way.
