Position Title - Dentistry Experience & Kines courses

I have a couple of questions about the application, both of which have been asked before but received mixed responses

1. Position Title for Dentistry Experience - does it refer to YOUR title (i.e. "observer" or "volunteer", etc.) or does it refer to the title of your supervisor (DDS, DMD, etc?)

2. Should KINE 303 - Human Anatomy and KINE 304 - Human Physiology be classified as Biology in the coursework section? This might seem like a silly Q but AADSAS lists Kinesiology as other science while listing Physiology and Anatomy as Biology

1. Yes, pretty sure that means your title, because there's a number of different things you could be doing during dental experience.

2. If it really is an anatomy and physio class, put it under Bio, and if it's wrong, they'll most likely change it for you.

Maybe... I'm not totally sure - if there's a "Position" section, that's where you write about yourself. Either way, they'll realize you're not a DMD, and that the doctor isn't a Shadower, so if you put the wrong thing, it doesn't really matter.

When you click on the 'instructions for this section' link in the application it says to write down your position title...but the people in that other thread seemed convinced that it was the supervisor's position title..anyone talk to aadsas recently about this? i tried on friday but they closed before I got a response

If it says your "position title" then yes, 100% put down your title.

Nahhh, should be your supervisor's title...what if you are volunteer and you put "volunteer" in the title? but that will be duplicate information with the check box under it...

Well, if you're volunteering, you'll have an actual title, like, dental assistant. You could be paid though, and so you wouldn't check the volunteering box. If you're just observing, you wouldn't check volunteer.

Either way, if the instructions specifically use the words "your position title," it means you, the one filling out the application.

And again, it really doesn't matter in the long run what you put there.

If you were just shadowing, put "Observer" or something like that, if you were assisting, put that.
