Hey SDN,

I was wondering if some residents, resident applicants or anyone in the field of endodontics might have some suggestions for someone in dental school who is interested in pursing endo.

What kinds of things can someone be doing while in dental school to make them a more competetive applicant? What kinds of things should someone pursuing endo be aware of?

externships at the school always helps. its basically a pre interview.
i believe one of my classmates was able to join the endo society - good way to network.
get to know your endo faculty really well. Academic endo is a small small community so most likely they know each other. - good letter of rec.
