Possible infection?

Hi, I just had dental implant studs put in 4 days ago. Pain seems to be subsiding pretty well, however this morning upon inspection I observed a white substance apound one of the posts. I was just wondering if an infection has set in?

Most of us here are either pre-dental or dental students so you won't get a professional answer out of us.

My boss gives out an emergency number to implant patients, he would want a call if the patient thinks there's an infection going on around the implant.

If it becomes a true emergency (i.e. you start having severe pain), you could go to the ER.
But if that's not the case, I would call tomorrow morning and see if you can go see your dentist for eval.
