Possible Interview Question: Do schools ask if you plan to do an allopathic residency or osteopathic residency?

sorry about any confusion...I am a non-trad and I work with a lot of residents and fellows at an allopathic school where we have had a lot of DOs come through

There's no confusion. Your answer should be that you have no idea what post graduate training opportunity will suit you, at this point in time.

I'm also a non-trad who works at a major allopathic teaching hospital, and we have a lot of DO's. I will be starting at a DO school in a few weeks, and I can tell you right now that I really have no way of knowing jack **** about where all I plan to apply to residency programs.
