Is it possible to finish dental school in less than the four years or is it like a strict "schedule"/everything is planned for four years? If it is possible, how so?

The curriculum is Pre-planned. What classes you take and when you take them isn't up to you (Outside of electives). The only way you could graduate early is if you go to UoP as stated above or take advantage of those 3+4 Programs.

No way. Everything is laid out. Only school that has a faster schedule is pacific as mentioned but you're not finishing early. Just on time with them.

Probably not in these days.... but my orthodontist in his 60s told me that his state dental school allowed him and a few other classmates to graduate in three years.

At Maryland, they said that some people who are really going at managing their time finish their requirements by the end of their 3rd year. And then in their 4th year, they get to essentially do an AEGD.
Interesting, how many people you know have done this?

Do you think any school is interested in getting only 3 years worth of tuition instead of 4?

Only UoP, but the more interesting question is: How does a student's clinical experience (ex. hours) differ bewteen UoP and the average dental school?

Just go see Professor Dumbledore when you first get accepted, and request the use of a time-turner. Then just take a few classes at the same time. Don't see why it would be an issue to finish school within 2 years or so.
