I've been told various things, so wanted to get more input here. Is it possible to have interviewed, not be invited to the waitlist, and still get in? To me it doesn't make sense, but I've heard otherwise. Just curious if this is possible. Thanks!

Yes. As long as you interviewed, you are up for grabs for either an acceptance, waitlist spot, or rejection. A waitlist spot is just a status..if they haven't given you a formal status yet, then some schools are still considering you and haven't decided what they want yet
It really varies school by school. Call up the school and inquire to be on the safe side.
