Hi guys! I applied to around 14 schools last year but only got one interview so far (USC) and got waitlisted here. I dont want to keep waiting for USC since I'm not guaranteed to get an offer and I want to get ready for this coming up cycle now. I still havn't heard from other schools so I'm guessing that I'll get rejected
here's my stat
PAT: 21, RC: 16, QR: 20, GC: 20, BIO 26, OC 28, TS 24, AA 22
I think my problem is that super low RC 🙁 and that I took DAT on Aug 28 and DAT score was sent to school mid-September. I submitted all my application materials by late July
I work as a dental assistant for one year and have tons of curricular activities ( I think I'm well-rounded in term of activities), and my GPA is 3.68. I went to CC and got a BS in Bio at UCLA
I really think my only prob is I applied too late. ANyone else can think of my other problems for me not getting post-dec interviews?
Also, If i'm going to reapply, do you think I need to ask my letter recommenders to rewrite their LOR for me? I honestly hate to ask them for this but not sure if it's necessary, or do they just need to update the date on the letter?
Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!!!
