Hey everyone,

I would love your input.

I have been taking AAMCs for a while now and my scores on 4 5 7 8 9 have been 31 30 29 27 33 (today). I'm not sure if today was a fluke or not, but for the past few days it seemed like I would have to retake it, if I don't cross 30's. My break down was 12/9/12; I was one question from a 13 on PS, and made it to 9 and 12 on VR and BS by only one question. Having said that, what would you recommend--should I go ahead and take 10 and 11 and exhaust all the AAMC practice tests or should I just go in on the 19th, give it my best, and if I make it over 30, great and if not I can restudy for a January date and will have AAMC 10/11 as metrics at that point, instead of resorting to GS tests...

Your input is appreciated!

my advice is walk into the testing center thinking that this is the last time i am taking this exam and do your best. i would def take 10/11 as these are great tests to make you feel what the actual test will be like. if it may not be possible to take both, then at least take AAMC 11, so you may not be surprised with the test itself. the test is pretty random and can pretty much test anything. best wishes with the exam.

you know what makes me happy is that you got a 33 on aamc 9 right after you banged out a 27 on 8

i too got a 27 on 8. hopefully i can do what you did lol

you also have TBR tests for PS and BS. i hear they are quite great as well.
personally, give it your best shot 1 time. if you don't feel ready for the 19th maybe delay till later? i think u can do it though. just be confident. if you are good enough to get a 33 that means you are good enough to get a 30+ on your mcat. even though your trends are hovering over the 30's mark. you can do this man. thats what i think, but i may be wrong. hopefully you take my advice w/ a grain of salt haha.

regardles..good luck on your exam. i hope you do well the first time :luck:

Depends on your goal. If you really want a 30+, delay. If you'd be okay with a 28-30 (not saying this is what you'll definitely make, but it's the most probable), go ahead and take it. If you decide to delay, definitely save AAMC 10 & 11 for later.

Also, I suggest hardcore VR prep because it's dragging you otherwise decent science scores down.
