Post-acceptance timetables

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I think maximum response time doesn't mean that you have to decide to go there or not in two weeks, it means you have to either put down a deposit to hold until March 15 or withdraw by not responding to their acceptance in two weeks.

Correct.

Also, OP, many schools have refundable deposits if you let them know by whatever date (something 15th, I want to say May? Look here, I'm lazy: http://www.aamc.org/students/applying/policies/admissionofficers.htm). It's not always the same date, but most are refundable. Thank goodness SOMETHING in this process is 🙂

most holding deposits are refundable all the way until may 15th! pretty good deal if you ask me

Hmm, I always thought the deposit was refunded if you decided to go to that school.

Thanks, guys. Good news.

It's not really refunded, it ends up being counted towards your tuition I believe.
