Post-acceptance

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Depends. VCOM requires a 3.2 and no grade under a B for classes taken post acceptance. Not sure how strongly they're going to enforce it, but it is there in writing.

Your acceptance letter typically will come with another letter that tells you what is expected of you. In that letter they will typically place contingencies upon your acceptance. Everyone's contingencies are different so in fact no one can actually answer this question adequately for you.

For example, my letter said, "Your offer of acceptance is contingent upon successful completion of your Bachelor's Degree." Other people at my school said their letters had requirements on grades, etc.

If they said it's contingent upon completion of your degree... you just need to graduate. And, trust me, if that's what they said... you are about to contract a case of senioritis like you have never seen before.

Thanks, my acceptances say completion of degree. Your last sentence -> LOL 🙂

Don't say I didn't warn you. There's no cure. Depending on what classes you're taking I would encourage you to learn the material though. I had genetics in the Spring and kind of blew it off and took a C. Turns out I just had to learn the same material 7 months later anyway.

yea, I am sure it will happen...especially with graduation, finding a new house, moving, and the other 9000 things I have to do next year.
Yea I am in genetics, O chem 2 + lab, neuro +lab...at least their interesting 🙂

word for word lol... Personally I'm walking away from this semester with what are probably 2 C+'s. I hate it but this has been a crazy few months for me and I'm going to school either way!

I guess mine really bothers me cause it was out of my control. I have an online class that during he test the site glitched and everyone who was taking it got kicked out and could t finish....the teacher basically said your screwed (there were multiple days to take it and so in her brain we should have picked a different day....) so yea....urg
