curious if anyone has info on how FA packages shake out for folks who are waitlisted until after April 30? I know we're only allowed to hold one acceptance at a time after that point, but at least one of the schools I'm waitlisted at would require me to fill out an extra form post-acceptance to be considered for FA, and I have no idea how long it would take them to put my package together. I'd need that info in order to make a choice about which acceptance to decline. anybody have insight on this dilemma?

in case it's relevant, my & my parents' income is low enough that I'd probably qualify for the Loans for Disadvantaged Students program and for need-based aid, so I'm thinking about those more than merit-based aid (I'm guessing most of that goes to the first-choice applicants lol)

I would complete a FAFSA and designate the waitlisted university (or multiple) so you reduce any delays to produce a FA package if/when you get an offer. Get your documents ready.

Secure as many grants/scholarships as you can on the contingency of an acceptance. You can ask if they would have any money to give you should you get an offer in May or June.
