Post-Bac at Hunter specifically for pre-dental!

I know that there are a TON of threads about the post bac program at Hunter, and from what I've read most people have nothing but good things to say about it. I'm just curious about previous/current post-bac students who were/are gearing for dental school.

One post on a thread (sorry, can't remember which one now) mentioned something about the pre-health advisor refusing to send a committee letter for pre-dental students. Which I found alarming. Is this accurate? How does the advising committee treat pre-dental students vs. the pre-med?

Anyone want to chime in?

Anyone successfully get into their dental school of choice? 🙂 I also love hearing about happy endings of course.

Additionally, I think it might be good to get some updated information about Hunter's Post Bac program as the other threads are a bit out of date now.

I saw on the website that the pre-health advisor is a woman named Kathy Jalali? What is everyone's experience with her?

I have no idea why a person would be denied a committee letter. The process now is pretty clearly outlined although when you get the letter is based on when you submit your materials. If you submit late, you get the letter late basically.

Cathy was added as an additional adviser and is by most accounts good. The other two people are still there (Phillips, Gentry).

I have no idea if there is anything pre-dental specific to be known but I can't see anything being significantly different.
