Hi everybody,

Just got accepted and sent in my deposit for dental school. I'm taking a few classes this semester, but only one course I am taking now is "required" prior to matriculation. I have a degree and don't need the other (anatomy and physiology).....

I would like to withdraw from the course and get some $ back/free up some time for more hours at my job. Would you drop it?

ThankS!

(Obviously it wouldn't hurt to finish the class...but I have the books and can go through the material on my own if it's THAT helpful of a class)

Call the school. If possible, it's better to save money in this situation imo.

Btw, if I may ask, how long have you been doing the post bac for?

Thanks guys. I had called them before I posted this thread, but the response was weird.

They said "it should be fine".....I said " it should be or it is fine to drop it" ....She said "yeah, I don't foresee it being a problem" (not very comforting)
* I have trust issues with admissions people

NEWAY...I emailed them the situation and question so that I will have their response in writing

Longhorn: Aug 2012-may 2014, and this current semester
9 courses total (36 credit hours)

Looking back: I should have taken BIO 1, CHEM 1, ORGO 1, and Physics 1 all in one semester, then finished up the next semester... coulda been a D2 by now , smh

Lol yeah I would def call them again and make your statement clear(which you did). That should hopefully do the trick. If not, email them lol

Ah I see! I'm in a post bac also and was curious how many hrs people took. I took 12 credits (3 courses) last semester and got A's and I hope to continue that success this semester and next.
It'll all be worth it bud 🙂 Congrats again on the acceptance!
