Post Bac + MCAT for DO

Hi

I was wondering if i were to do a post bac (UC Berkley Extension) and get say a 28-30 MCAT, would I be more compettive for a DO program?

My undergrad gpa was a 2.9

(PS. username is my buddy's, hence the MD. please dont take that into account)

Yes, retake the classes you did poorly in and do well in the pre-reqs to get your GPA over a 3.0. A 28-30 should definitely get you into a DO school, as long as you have proper extracurriculars and shadowing.
