so i am pre-dental, didn't get into dental school this cycle.....and i got a job working as a research technician at cornell weill medical college. i also got into the UMDNJ MBS program. i was wondering which one would help me more?

btw, i have had a TON of research experience during undergrad. im graduating from a top school with a gpa of 3.2. and i plan on retaking the DAT sometime this year.

help please?

If you have a ton of research experience, then I imagine that it wasn't lack of clinical experience that held you back from entrance into dental school. It sounds like your DAT, which you're already taking care of, and possibly your GPA could be more of a problem. I would say take a break from working, unless you absolutely need it for financial reasons, and focus more on retaking the DAT and increasing your GPA. Sounds like the MBS program might do you better for now. Also, you might be able to find some kind of part time or volunteer work while you study to keep you involved in clinical experience and give you a break from studying. Good luck!
 
I agree, since you're GPA isn't super high, I would def do the postbac especially since you've done a lot of research already
