Post Bac program.

i hear UC Berkeley has a good post bacc program that is offered through their extension classes....i think you could finish it in one year but you might want to look into that more.

I just started the BMS at Rosaling Franklin about a week ago. It is definitely an intense programs but it is worth while so far in my opinion. You take 2 class with the Med School and the 3 without (much easier). Also it is a quarter system so you can work really hard for 10 weeks from August to November and send those grades into dental school during the update period. Plus this program has a lot of resources to help you do well.

Also the UMDNJ, Barry, Tulane, and Boston programs are supposed to be really good.

Oh and if you're willing to do a 2 year program UCLA has a really good one in Oral Health.

I heard good thing about the Berkeley Program from USC. The only downside is that is Undergraduate level courses so it wont show up as its own GPA. It will be averaged with the all your other undergraduate courses. If you need a major GPA boost Masters is the way to go. Plus you show Dental Schools you can handle graduate level work.

I'm in the VCU Pre-med/dent post-bac program and I really like it. In particular, its nice because they have several (7 or so?) different tracks in the medical departments (Biochem, microbio, anatomy, physiology, etc) so you can pick the field your most interested in. Its known for being pretty tough tough. Also, its a hell of a lot cheaper than most of the other programs, even if youre out of state.

UConn has a really good program catered to both med and dental students. Maintain above a 3.0 for one year and you are guaranteed entrance into the next med/dental class.
