I have a B.A. (yes of Arts) in Computer Science (yes Science - sort of weird) I was just curious doing a Masters degree make any sense over a post-bac program. I am curious because I heard I could get financial aid for the Masters degree but not for the Post-bac (except 10,500 in loans that doesn't cover most post-bac).
But I wonder if doing a master I could get the Medical School requirements. I mean, with a Computer Science degree I couldn't do a Masters in Biology for example, or a Masters in Computers Science while squeezing in Bio, Chem, Org. Chem and Physics....
Maybe I'm just trying too hard, but I was curious if this is an option?
After Med School I am going to most likely do a PhD in computers anyway, as it is my other passion.... but I planned on doing it overseas... in China or Russia... but if it helps me get into Med School with Financial Aid, then I'll do that.

thanks

Sorry, but if you need to take the four pre-req classes as you mentioned in one of your other threads, they are undergrad level courses, and in your case would need to be taken either a-la carte at a local university or through a formal post-bac program. Most master's programs will have minimum course prereqs of their own (basic level science courses), so if you don't have those, it is unlikely that you would be granted admission.

thanks
I found out that I still can get a good amount of federal loans.
I called the FAFSA phone number.
So, I can go to a postbac program instead.
cool
