I graduated from the University of Oregon in 2012 with a 3.6 gpa and had originally planned to apply to med school. However, circumstances beyond my control resulted in me needing to find full time employment. I was wondering what programs are suitable for students that had good undergraduate grades but need to take a few more classes, prove to committees that I have retained my academic ability as well as programs that provide personal advising and Mcat prep. Thanks

If you're still in Oregon, look at PSU or UofO. You can do a formal program or just take classes in the evenings. If you're not in Oregon, look at Berkeley Extension and Harvard Extension as examples of what to look for.

There is no problem with working for a while before med school and you should not apologize for it.

Bets of luck to you.

Thanks. I will probably look into taking some classes at night at Oregon. That way I can
