For those of you who are already graduated and preparing to reapply to dental school, what post bacc courses do you take?

I am thinking of applying to a non-degree graduate program and take graduate level courses,,,,I'm thinking microbiology or cellular/molecular biology areas.

I am reapplying to dental school this cycle, but just in case I am not accepted again, I want to be academically involved. I might also decide to pursue a master's program after taking several courses non-degree and apply those courses to the master's (in the case that I am not accepted).

I wanted to ask if those of you who decide to take post bacc classes, what do you guys do? Do you take graduate level courses, or do you take more upper division science courses? In my case my gpa is a little below "competitive" so I want to show good post bacc academic work.

Between last cycle and this cycle, I retook the DAT and continued volunteer work at a dental setting. I didn't consider going back to school for more classes because of financial reasons, but I think I should consider it to be prepared for the possible outcomes.

Your feedback will be appreciated.

Take upper division science courses. Also try to take the labs that are not a pre-req for dental school such as micro lab, neuro lab. I have taken pathology, immunology, endocrinology, neuroanatomy, biochem 2, anatomy and histology for my post-bacc courses. Also if they offer embryology, that would be a good course to take.
