I am a senior at a liberal arts institution in Calif. with a non-science major and an interest in post bacc as an avenue to med. school. Haven't taken the mcat but I am serarching for information on possible post bacc- linking programs where the mcat isn't required. I took several science glasses but my gpa in the science courses isn't the greatest. Should I take the mcat in April (even though I haven't taken all the pre-req scicence courses for med school) or search for a post bacc program that doesn't require the mcat?
